Promoting and funding scientific research

ENNOIA promotes and funds scientific research on topics related to household financial empowerment and financial inclusion. A Special Research Committee is responsible for announcing, commissioning, and evaluating research projects on these topics. The Research Committee is chaired by Professor Michael Haliassos, with the participation of representatives of the international academic community, as well as executives of National Bank of Greece and Accenture Greece.

Call for Proposals 2026

The ENNOIA Initiative announces its second Call for Research Proposals. We are seeking projects that deliver accurate, evidence-based insights into household financial decision-making, financial health and financial well-being. Selected projects will run for 12 months and focus on practical solutions addressing real challenges faced by Greek households.
